Not quite as pretty, but still attractive.

I love it!

Love the second too, and love the both thread colours as well as the quilting designs.

When I designed the blocks I have used in this series I spent a lot of time trying to get the right amount of contrast between the applique pieces … then discovered that little or no contrast between the applique shapes would work just as well, providing they contrasted with the background.

Love the second one today, but in the real quilt I would fill in those blank spaces with quilted filler patterns in matching thread.

The last of the Christmas leftovers for this year. This is a project file I found hidden in the back of the computer.

I really want to replace some of the green bits with green holly leaf shaped bits … but I will save them for next Christmas, which will probably be here in a couple of months!

Another design in Christmas colours which would look good all year, and would react well to a change of colours.
